In October our members purchased a 2020 Ford F350 with a utility bed as a new Squad. The truck is in service and is continuing to be fitted with updated equipment to further help us better serve the great Borough of North Belle Vernon and assist our mutual aid companies.
Santa came to North Belle Vernon and rode around the borough with the elves from NBVFD. Our crew gave out over 200 treat bags to the children of North Belle Vernon. The officers and members had a great time even thou the weather did not cooperate very well.
We got some big news yesterday Santa will be coming to town on Monday December 21st starting at 6pm. We will be coming around on the trucks and passing treats out to all the good boys and girls.
With this years Pennsylvania State Grant the Engine was upgraded with new batter powered extraction tools from Genesis Rescue. The Hurst Rescue system was placed on the Air Truck as a second Rescue.
We received a call from the North Pole at Santa was coming for the annual North Belle Vernon Light Up Night and was asked to use our station's landing zone and board the reindeer in the truck bay while Santa was down the park.

We are continuing to upgrade our equipment with the purchase of another thermal imaging camera and a new set of rescue tools. This equipment with along with other future and recent upgrades will better help us help the public.

For the past year North Belle Vernon has been updating our protective gear with the purchase of new helmets and fire gear. We will be phasing out the older tan and yellow fire gear for the new black gear.

North Belle Vernon Borough held their 2015 Light Up Night at the fire station from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Santa arrived on Engine #52 promptly at 6:00 escorted by car 618 (NBVPD), Engine 80, Quint 80, Air 80 and Squad 80.
3rd Lieutenant Jeff Antal has recently received his certification as a Fire Fighter I from the National Pro Board. Jeff is now the 8th member from Station 80 to attain this prestigious certification. We congratulate him and recognize the commitment that he has put forth.
